New Common Sense for Lifting

Only since I read Shuler and Cosgrove's book have I begun to see results from my workouts. I am following the Hypertrophy I program (hypertrophy means muscle building as opposed to fat loss or strength building) and am amazed. I have gained 5 pounds of muscle in 4 weeks. Their advice is to work smarter and rest smarter and Shuler, the pen to paper guy (Cosgrove being the workout specialist) spends great effort in explaining what it means to work and rest smarter. But rather than getting in to details here let me just highly recommend this enjoyable, humorous and extremely useful book.
