I very much like to turn things into other things. Especially my clothing. This book offers not only ideas for creating new/different clothing out of t-shirts, but other items useful around the house or wherever.
There are several photos of the finished product as well as step-by-step instructions. Don't worry about having no experience in sewing. This book will even introduce readers to the basic stitch and offers plenty of no-sew instructions.
Like to try something new, this book also gives ideas for variations. Definitely a must have on the bookshelf, in the sewing room, or even your t-shirt drawer.

What a great book! This book covers lots of different projects for jazzing up t-shirts and using the material for simple, fun projects. Most of the projects are simple and give immediate gratification. The instructions are easy to follow and the layout is bright and inviting. There are a wide variety of projects to choose from at different levels of difficulty, although I would categorize all the projects as beginner-level.
What I like best about this book is it gives a leg-up to inexperienced sewists who might otherwise be too intimidated to dive in. A great gift for the teenage sewist.

T-shirts are cool, comfortable to wear and easy to maintain, this is a plus for economical tees. This book by Megan Nicolay, "Generation T 108 Ways to Transform a T-Shirt," is filled with fresh ideas and diagrams of ways to transform a tired old Tee-shirt into a striking fashion statement with minimal effort. There are even pages included for sketching your own creative ideas. I give this book 4 stars for its fresh ideas and its coggling, recyling efforts.
