A beloved spinster has her day

How does one find a good read? I browse the shelves of the library like I am panning for gold. I pick up books and read synopses then gently cull them from the stacks. If they are worthy, I hunt for copies to purchase--from Alibris, naturally. Such is the case for this marvelous novel. Read this novel with the magic of suspended disbelief that writers create with their uncanny sleight of hand. The book juxtaposes time and place in such a way that it is reminiscent of the movie Somewhere in Time. It will move you and clutch at your heartstrings, make you root for the underdog, and travel along on a once in a lifetime journey. It's magic, pure magic. And it will be a part of my permanent library to swoon over again and again.
