My personality is described thoroughly in this most interesting book. While some may challenge the author's assessment and insist that I have ADD, I take great comfort in her acknowledgment that not everyone finishes project that they begin.
After reading this book, I gave it to a friend who is also a "fellow scanner".

Are you a sSanner too?
If you are a Scanner, this book is for you! A Scanner is someone who is interested in just about everything and anything - scanners are always intrigued by new ideas, new hobbies. A typical aspect of a scanner is that they are great at beginning new projects (but not great finishers, as they often get intrigued by something new) OR they want to do so many things, they actually don't get started on anything. As a scanner myself, this book is a wonderful find! If you are a scanner too, this book is eye opening and highly encouraging. Barbara offers lots of practical ideas on how scanners actually can pursue more in life than they ever thought they could.. I feel very fortunate to have found this book, and to have found Barbara Sher's website! Her writing is intriguing, full of stories of scanners who have found ways to embrace their many interests. She writes as though she is speaking to you 1:1 - a highly enjoyable read.
