Brand New. Paperback. Brand new, not a used item. Please no orders from Tennessee. A story of the war on the battlefield, off the battlefield-& within one soldier's soul. Gary was not used as a combat sniper the way marksmen are currently being used in Iraq. He was lent to American intelligence agents who used him as an assassin, probably as part of the infamous, CIA-run Phoenix Program. Foreword by Douglas Valentine, author of "The Phoenix Program." 6x9 inches, 304 pgs.
I thought this would be a good read but from my viewpoint it was too much bashing of our government. I realize that our government isn't perfect but it's still the best around. Yes, things happen in the military that probably shouldn't but still....this isn't what I was looking for in this book.
