A great read for all.
I looked forward to reading this book as I am a great admirer of Joyce Rupp and have all of her books.
The book was full of the adventures that a sister and a priest ran into on their pilgrimage. Adventures which many of us would blush over and which most of us would flee from, but with God's grace, they faced coed bathrooms and sleeping rooms and were able to laugh and comment about them.
Their stamina astounded me at their age. Especially when you consider that they had a different bed every evening in the hostels of northern Spain and nourishing food was a problem.
All through the book, they found time several times a day to pray to God and be thankful for His help and they took the time to be kind and caring to those they met along the way.
This was truly an inspiring book showing that even when we get older that we can still do the things that we want.
Too bad the book had to end on such a sad note.
