Good. No Jacket. 8vo-over 7¾"-9¾" tall. This is a Good Copy of this hardcover book in green cloth with black title lettering to spine. No Dust-Jacket. There are weakened inner hinges and a couple of plates are loose within the book. This copy was acquired from the Private Library of Henry Kelly, Television Presenter and former Journalist. Henry Kelly was born in Dublin Ireland and after University he worked as a journalist and was the Belfast based Northern Editor of The Irish Times in the 1970's. In 1976, he moved to London to work on Radio 4's World Tonight and then, in a complete career change from serious journalism he moved into television. He became a household name in the UK as part of the team presenting LWT's practical-joke show Game For a Laugh in the 1980's and then he presented Going For Gold a Popular lunchtime TV quiz show on BBC1. The book has a firm binding with no leaning to spine. Uncommon title undated but Circa 1920's 8vo 382pp with tear to folding map at rear of the book.
