UNUSED, GOOD, NOT EX-LIBRARY, Hurt, 1315 pages. The new edition calculus textbook has been thoroughly revised. It continues to embrace the best aspects of reform by combining the traditional theoretical aspects of calculus with creative teaching and learning techniques. This is accomplished by a focus on conceptual understanding, the use of real-world data and real-life applications, projects, and the use of technology (where appropriate). It is widely acknowledged that the main goal of calculus instruction is for the student to understand the basic ideas. This text aims to support such a goal while motivating students through the use of real-world applications, building the essential mathematical reasoning skills, and helping them develop an appreciation and enthusiasm for calculus.

Good. 053409368X Up for sale is a used book in good condition. This book has been previously owned and is blemished. The cover has some rubbing with corner and binding wear. The interior has page markings (highlighting/writing) and the previous owner's name. There is an inventory sticker on the back and a used sticker on the spine. The textblock has a marking.

This is a very complete book: ita has good explanations for people who cannot understand the topics that are being covered, but there are also challeging exercises for the poeple who is good at calculus.

Decent math textbook

i had calculus course at my university and i had enough material on subject but i still wanted to go through the matter by my own so i took this book.

i think i didn't make a mistake. The book is very well written and there are lots of examples. Explanations are also decent.

i still haven't finished reading the book (it has lots of pages, heh) but i think it is very good book.

Thumbs up :D

required textbook

Received promptly in perfect condition and was the edition that was advertised. Much cheaper than what I would have gotten from the university bookstore.
