This was a humorous love story about an earl's daughter, who is kidnapped and taken to Virginia to be sold as a tobacco bride. It may sound far-fetched, but it is well done.
An amazing story of the hard life faced by the early settlers, the conflicts with the Indians, infant mortality and illness in the new land, and tobacco farming.
The main conflict between Constance and Drew has to do with how each believes the other will not accept them because they are from different social classes. It was also steamy, in its' own way.
