Dick Irvin has interviewed 25 past and present National Hockey League referees and linesmen, asking them about the highlights, the low points, and the tough calls of their careers. Their stories are as varied, colorful, funny, farfetched, and revealing as any collection of anecdotes ever brought together about the game of hockey.
