A book written in the early years of the Hindu faith, this book is a beautiful rendition of ancient Indian literature that can be used any day. Touching on the basis of Hindu belief and practices, the characters discuss how to live according to one's Dharma and truely become enlightened and please Karma. Krishna is advising his disciple of the importance in his duties to the community, himself, and to the gods. This is a perfect piece that explains to the Hindu community, and the world outside, of one's importance to the community and to connect to one's understanding of one's self and relationship to the gods. Definitely a reccommended piece for anyone interested in ancient literature, Indian/Hindu literature, or a beautifully written story.
