Delightful read for children 8+
In this beautiful adaptation of the classic Pilgrim's Progress, the essence of John Bunyan's original words is complimented with breathtaking pictures by Alan Parry. Young eyes will wander eagerly though Parry's dark web of ink and watercolor. Although some of the story elements may be a bit gruesome for young children, slightly older readers will find delightful detail and humorous caricature spun throughout the pages. The carefully selected words lend themselves easily to character voicing, making this the perfect book to read aloud.
