I would recommend this book to young readers. The illustrations are expertly done and depict the story very well. With such a dark concept to grasp, Doreen Rappaport, the author, is able to simplify Martin Luther King's dream so kids are able to understand. I feel that the concept of segregation is a little difficult for children to understand and this book is able to explain more about it and how Martin Luther King Jr. was able to make a change. It is an excellent book to teach perseverance, and teaches kids to stand up for what they believe in.
