helpful exercises

this book has helped me avoid back surgery to repair a disk problem. i was doubtful at first but after two weeks of exerciises along with changing my sitting posture my back felt much better. i have continued those streches,etc for the past three months and the pain in the back is almost eliminated. i am now working on the neck items to improve my motion. simple but effective.

After reading through the book, particularly the neck section, I was a bit sceptical about some of the exercises but thought I?d give it a go. Well, what can I say, the pain in my neck and shoulder has eased and the exercises are easy to follow and I can do them either sitting or standing and no one is any the wiser. One exercise, No. 5 in the neck section, in particular was almost the opposite of what I had been shown before but it worked. I still get pain but now I know how to relieve it almost instantly.

The exercises in this book have helped me resume normal physical activity (golf, landscaping, exercise) after chronic severe neck pain that hampered all these activities. I have recommended the book to others who have had similar success. Read the whole book, not just the exercise chapter, as there .is a lot to learn about the effects of posture and other personal behaviour.
