El Supremo disappoints...again!

by David A R on Sep 24, 2012

I was intrigued by this title and author. Rehnquist was involved in the 2000 Supreme court decision that made George W Bush president despite his loss in the popular vote. This book deals with the disuputed election of 1875 in which James Blaine won the popular vote but the congress made R.B. Hayes president. Sadly the book was overloaded with not terribly relevant facts and Rehnquist had a great deal of trouble getting to the point.
