Excellent but expensive

Unique study in Western military history of the structure, development and operations of Indian Army in WWII. I finally understand the recruiting, regimental numbers and structure of the army. It is not a tactical analysis of the fighting from 1941-1945, but focuses on the operational arts and how the Indian Army developed a tactical response to the Japanese invasion. The book is very well written, without any apparent errors, and will reside on my shelves for many years. The only issues -- it is very pricy, and also fairly short.
