Blood, Tears and Folly

A difficult book to read but well worth the effort. Politicians and leaders of almost every nation which fought in this war are in for a bit of a kick in the pants; but as the book is very well (not impeccably) researched, one cannot say the kick is not merited. Essential reading but very hard going; this book is necessary to read to bring us closer to the truth (I say closer because so much of what happened has been omitted, lied about or changed by all parties involved that we will never know the actual truth of events) of what happened in the Second World War and why. This should be compulsory reading in all schools, especialy military ones. Read it and weep.
