They say that when in Rome, do as the Romans do. But after reading, "Encountering The Book of Romans" I say do as the Book of Romans tells you to do. I ordered this book as an assigned text for my course on Romans. So ask me, do I regret it? No! As a matter of fact, I also observed many commentaries by authors such as: LLoyd-Jones, MacAurthur, and Barnhouse, and they were good, but Moo enlightens us in a more technical fashion. Anyone reading the Bible and wanting to do more than just be-bop their way through it should really have this book as a reference to one of the most prolific Books in God's Word.
