I completely agree with VickiLN - this story was incredible. All the elements of family, friendship, love, perseverance and ambition were beautifully depicted throughout. This is one of Danielle Steel's very best!
I usually don't read books like this, and I can't remember why I decided to read this one. But I'm so glad I did. I first read this book over 20 yrs ago and it's still my favorite.
