The cloth has typical offsetting and light spots (from natural fading), with pictorial endpapers. The dust jacket is unclipped with the original price intact. ($2.50) The spine of the dust jacket has a small piece missing from the crown and the front panel has been tape-repaired. Make no mistake about it, this is a very tough jacket and I could find no record of others. This jacket will certainly benefit from some professional restoration. I encourage any serious Evelyn Waugh collector to do so.
