No jacket. 104 pp. First Chapter is titled 'Chap with a Good Story to Tell'--and that was P.G. Wodehouse, who needs to be "Re-discovered"! One of the most prolific of writers, Wodehouse wrote seventy-odd novels, including nine about his two best-known characters, Bertie Wooster and his valet Jeeves. This book is bound in blue cloth w/silver titles. There is a darkish blue stain on the upper left portion of the cover-it may be damp stained. There is no wrinkling or waviness to binding or to pages, however. Otherwise cloth is clean, no marks, very gently bumped bottom front corner. The endpapers are facsimiles of manuscript pages from a work in progress, a sequel to "The Luck of the Bodkins". Mr Wodehouse lent and captioned several photographs from his own collection. Their captions have been reproduced in his handwriting. Many b/w illustrations throughout. Prev owner name on reverse side of ffep. Solid and clean volume about a remarkable man.
