Fine in Very Good-dust jacket. Hardcover with dustjacket, first printing as stated on copyright page. Book is in excellent condition, the red and black cloth binding is clean and bright as new and the contents are flawless, the only flaw to this near-perfect copy is some tanning to the blank rear end-papers, the scarce jacket has some loss at the spine-tips but it does not affect the title or publisher's name, also some corner-wear and very slight tanning on the spine, the jacket presents itself quite nicely overall, clean, the front panel illustration still very pleasing to the eye, the original price (4.00) is present and a professional (removable) mylar cover is included, this book features 24 stunning color plates, "In brief chapters electric with humor and sympathy he lets us meet his Communist friends-in their homes, in their factories, their schools, their bread-lines, their pastry shops, their villages"
