THE MOST DESCRIPTIVE account of on the ground combat in the Pacific Theater that I have ever read. I really don't know how survivors, like Sledge made it through and kept their sanity. They truly are "THE GREATEST GENERATION". Outstanding and informative read. Highly recommend it. 5 stars. More
