Whoop-Up Country by Paul Sharp

by trailboss on Oct 31, 2013

Whoop-Up Country is one of the finest works ever written on the history of the North-West's first highway. The author goes into great detail explaining the requirements of the early Montana-Canadian frontier which gave the old trail such importance. Not only has he researched the principle reason behind the freighting trail's use but also speaks of the shippers who made fortunes in a few short years. This text is a must have for all early west history buffs. You won't be disappointed.
