we had to get this as a textbook for art school, my daughter likes it , the book has some humor to it but as normal most textbooks are a pain to read More

My suggestion: read Traveling Mercies first, so that you can know who Anne Lamott is. But even if you don't, this is a very good book about writing. She tells you how to do suggestions and of course, by EXAMPLE...her own! More
