This is an absolutely heart-wrenching account of the Rwandan genocide! There were times that the reading got so heavy, I had to put the book down for a few days and walk away...just truly an intensely sad journey through what many Tutsi people suffered through at the hands of the Hutus...props to the author for going into such devistated areas to find as real a story as he could...I know I wouldn't have the courage to face what he did! VERY GRAPHIC (violent) WRITING (although necessary in this case to show the true nature of the Rwandan genocide (and war in general?!?!?)...)!!!
