My husband and I read the book together and enjoyed every bit. It's like traveling across the country without leaving your comfortable chair. A great experience to share and love the man who did it and wrote it.
A young man who questions American values and lifestyles decides to see for himself what this country is all about by walking across the entire country. In this first book, he walks from Conneticut to New Orleans meeting a lot of interesting characters as he walks through towns, cities, valleys and mountains.
This is a wonderful true story that will capture your heart and keep your attention till the
end. A must read.
Tears and joy fills this story and you will want even your children to read
I highly recommend this book for all ages to read.
I wish someone had told me to read this book when I was young, I might of looked at life in a better light and headed our for my own adventure just from all Peter did and saw.
