by SherylL on Feb 2, 2012

This book takes you there through the eyes of Richard Dana, a young man who needed a break from school to regain his health. Dana's voyage to California in a sailing ship in the early 1800's brings the Romance of the age to life. Dana worked hard on and off the ship.
