Great Study Aid!

by Chris F on Nov 15, 2012

Great book to learn about Psychological Theories. Helpful for exam preparation for any of the Mental Health or Psychology examinations. Easy reading; Quiz at the end of each chapter with answer guide. Very helpful as a study aid.

Inaccurate Image

by Michael V on Oct 13, 2011

The picture has changed since I purchased this book...and it's still not the correct one. The original image was for the eighth edition...and I received the fourth edition. Now the image is for the fifth edition. Better get that fixed.

Excellent Summary

by Zita on Jun 17, 2009

This book is an excellent summary from the author's bird-eyes view about the theories and the possible difficulties in the practice of counseling. Ther are no prescription, no absolute truths, and no ready solutions, but it encourages you to think, and use all of your assets what you already have, as well as encourages you to develop your own personality in order to help develop clients.

Older book

by Mariamac on Jun 8, 2009

I was surprised when the book arrived. It was in almost new conditions with no markings or damage on the inside. Considering that this is an older text book, I was surprised. There were no problems with the delivery and the book arrived sooner than expected. I would order from this dealer again.

text book

The text book was in good quality. A lot cheaper than going to the campus book store. When you are paying for college every little cent that is saved is a blessing.
