Good. No Jacket. 8 1/4 X 5 1/2` Blue cloth with red title and decorations on cover and spine The top edge of the cover is stained and the faded spine is bumped and frayed on top and bottom. There are impressions of pencil marks on the FEP and some age toning. The front hinge is slightly tender, but the binding is firm and the text is clean and unmarked. Corrigan's story about his boyhood, his barnstorming days and his flight to Europa. With 56 sepia toned Photographs. marked 1st edition.

Otherwise Very clean tight copy, fine interior. Illustrated with 56 gravures, bound in blue pictorial silk cloth stamped in red front and spine. "Wrong Way" Carrigan s own story written fully by himself, with honesty and simplicity. In 1938 Corrigan, unable to get permission to fly to Europe in his secondhand Curtiss Robin, received permission to return to California. Instead he ended up in Ireland and from then one was known as Wrong Way Corrigan.
