Unclipped dust jacket has some wear with creases and 1" closed tear at top front, closed tear on rear, small but noticeable scrape on spine and other less significant issues. Charming book about a beatnik little kid in Greenwich Village in the late 1950s was a parody of the popular Eloise series. Author Scoppetone would later make her mark as a mystery writer and illustrator Fitzhugh would become known for Harriet the Spy. End papers has slight toning; dust jacket has light soil and a tape-mended tear on the visible side of the rear panel. Very collectible book despite the dj flaws. OUT OF PRINT.
