Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas

by

Katie Wilkinson has found the perfect man at last - but one day he disappears from her life, leaving behind only a diary for her to read. The diary was written by a new mother, as a keepsake for her baby son. In it she touchingly recounts the initial romance between herself and the child's father, and the unparalleled joy that motherhood has brought her. As Katie reads this moving account, it becomes clear that the lover who has left her is the same man as the husband and father in the diary. She reads on, filled with terror and hope as she struggles to understand what has happened - and whether her new love has a prayer of surviving. An unforgettable love story - at once heartbreaking and full of hope. Hide synopsis

The suspense found in Patterson's writing is definitely here as well. The story was so much more genuine than some books of this type. Definitely a "must read" for anyone who enjoys Patterson's style without all the "blood and gore" of Alex Cross and other detectives! Definitely refreshing!! I Loved ... More

Not Very Interesting

by skyprincess on Oct 13, 2008

While I know that James Patterson is a respected writer I never found the content of his novels of interest to me. I was pleased when he chose to write a love story, expecting it to be moving and beautiful. Disappointed, I found the book to be without depth and emotion, and not particularly well-written ... More

Confusing

by piafinn on Mar 19, 2008

A better romance than Sam's Letters to Jennifer, but when you've got a story with two guys named Matt and two women who love one of them, it gets confusing. After a while, I forgot who was remembering what, and when it happened. Halfway through I started to clue in, and by the end of the book, I got ... More
