Store Days is a selection by the artist, Claes Oldenburg, with the aid of Emmett Williams. Oldenburg is a Swedish sculptor, best known for his public art installations typically featuring very large replicas of everyday objects. Texts, graphic materials, and photos from 1961-1962. The documents are presented as directly as possible, since this no catalog of this, a seminal moment in the history of art. The dust jacket shows wear, and a few small close tears. Some minor soiling to edges of white cloth boards, otherwise with interior clean.

Author-signed work by the famed Swedish sculptor Claes Oldenburg. "Claes Oldenburg is a Swedish sculptor, best known for his public art installations typically featuring very large replicas of everyday objects" (courtesy of Wikipedia). The reverse of the front flyleaf bears an original signature of Claes Oldenburg. Affixed to the front flyleaf is a glassine pocket that holds a business card for the grand opening of The Store, which features an announcement for the grand opening. The work is illustrated with many photographs and reproductions of Oldenburg's art. The volume shows mild external age/wear, and is solidly bound with clean pages. The unclipped dust jacket displays shelf wear to its lower edge, displaying some tears. The book measures approximately 8 3/4" x 11 1/4". Unpaginated but aprox 148.; 0.
