Oldenburg's "The Store" business card in glassine envelope pasted to front free end page, as issued. Color and black & white photography by Robert R. McElroy. Store Days is a selection by the artist, Claes Oldenburg, with the aid of Emmett Williams. Oldenburg is a Swedish sculptor, best known for his public art installations typically featuring very large replicas of everyday objects. Texts, graphic materials, and photos from 1961-1962. The documents are presented as directly as possible, since this no catalog of this, a seminal moment in the history of art. The dust jacket shows wear, and a few small close tears. Some minor soiling to edges of white cloth boards, otherwise with interior clean.
