Thoughtful reassessment of Stalingrad

by David M J on Jun 21, 2012

This book gives several different accounts, by a German survivor of the defeat along with reassessments of the behaviors and rationales of some of the other actors (such as General Manstein, von Paulus) that provides much information to rethink the moral, ethical as well as military and political aspects of the defeat.
