Seeing Sociology in your Everyday Life Sociology, 15/e empowers students to see the world around them through a sociological lens, helping them better understand their own lives. The text is written to help students find and use the science of social behavior in everyday life. Author John Macionis takes students step-by-step through the theories and research that make up the discipline of sociology. Easy to Understand
I needed this book for class. The cover by itself makes it look good by all the colors, it looks inviting. Inside the cover is a timeline of Society in History (may be useful, not for me, but maybe for someone else). Inside the book in each chapter are many boxes for different things to think about while reading. Also gives some articles from the New York Times inside. Also there are maps for worldwide and the US that pertain to different chapters. Each chapter ends in a review that is very easy to understand and points you to pages that it was discussed. Definitions to important words are along the side of the page. Also there are sample test questions there, multiple choice and essay. The answers to the multiple choice are on that same page.
