"Good" Slavery vs " Bad"

by Yevgenyatyoo on May 8, 2011

In this book it is explained how chattel (a movable article of property) slavery practiced by North America with its law by the people, was hostile to freedom, whereas slavery based on a different law (Justinian) as practiced by South America was favorable to freedom. This brief history of both slavery practices gives a good overview of the implications and the directions of the "peculiar institution(s)" that paralleled each other. This slim book contains an index and footnotes. Most important is that the writing is lucid and analyzes the properties pertinent to a very voluble subject.
