Very good(+) 82 drawings of people and scenes in air-raid shelters, taken from 2 original sketchbooks. Small oblong 8vo, gray cloth (spine ends rubbed, a few bubbles on front cover). London: Editions Poetry. n.d., ca 1940. Very good (+). Fine copy, in a worn, but intact dust jacket. Moore's facsimile signature on flyleaf. Very Good. No Jacket. VERY GOOD. Internally near fine-pages fresh, clean, totally unmarked. Gray cloth cover is very good: generally clean with toning to spine, gilt spine lettering dulled. Gilt titling within black panel on front cover is bright. Binding and hinges however are loose and wobbly, with some tearing to the front endpaper along hinge-a common problem for this edition. Front free endpaper has the facsimile signature "Henry Moore October 1940. " No jacket. Overalll a respectable copy.
