Detailed Bio of Neer-Do-Well Who Becomes Legend

by Lara on Mar 6, 2008

Amazingly detailed account of a strong-willed (ie difficult) mariner who is marooned on island and copes with deprivation and solitude. Amazingly he goes out ot sea again after at long last arriving home to England. The story has comic elements all over, especially when he neglects to divorce his first wife before marrying a second time. Written by a determined researcher who leaves no gaps in the tale. Volume has endnotes and helpful index in back. My only complaint is that I would have appreciated some period etchings or other illustrations. Caution: Rated X or at least PG-13 for treatment of sexual needs while marooned on island.
