This book provides extensive information as to exactly what Japanese ships were involved in which actions in the Pacific War of WWII. If thats what you are seeking, this is the book for you. However, its not a great read in that there is scarce background information as to the who and why of any actions described, the general actions being described with little if any interesting details, not much information on the people side of the Japanese fleet (other than names). A thorough record, but not an exceptional piece of historical writing.
