This book was an eye-opener for me. I had once been an adolescent long ago and this book, with the described experiences of the young girls, brought back memories. I have two adult daughters and, although they didn't confide in me a great deal, I could tell they were having difficult experiences in highschool. This book has increased my appreciation and understanding of the pressures that teen girls undergo. It opened another world to me.
Sensitive and well written. Full of information. A must-read for parents of pre-teen and teen girls.
