Great on Many Levels

by MyMy on May 17, 2007

I'm a 1st grade teacher and I have been a fan of Ezra Jack Keats' books for a while now. There are many things to observe that can be used as learning tools in this book. For instance, it can be a spring board for conversations about multiculturalism, poverty, friendship, and most of all, imagination. My students enjoyed the pictures and the storyline, and so did I. Good Stuff!
