Front cover has creasing, two small closed tears, one large closed tear (4 inches long). Spine has 3 1/4 inches of cover torn off at center, heavy creasing & moderate chipping at head/tail, wear along joints. Back cover has graphite markings, two small closed tears and two chips. Dj flap joints have chipping, back flap joint has small waterstain but no warping. Dj is wrapped in clear plastic. 240 pgs.

Book is clean inside and out with exception of a small bookplate pasted on front blank endpaper. However, no name is on the bookplate so you can put your own name on it if you like. Jacket with a couple of closed tears on front cover and some associated crinkling, but there is no significant loss to the jacket from chipping. Jacket is price clipped. Not a bad jacket, however. Better than just average. Copyright page of book has the Harper & Brothers code of C-B indicating this is the 1952 first printing.
