Los of his drawings are inspired by literary sources among which include Marcel Proust, Henry James, the Bible, William Blake and John Ruskin, but also popular magazines and dime novels. In his early work, these references take the form of quotations ~ ~ between lines that later became more direct and extensive citations. In this paper we present the two main languages? ? used by this artist: drawing and Raymond Pettibon escritura. La exploration conducted, in the late eighties, in the field of radical American subculture of the sixties and seventies; led him in 1989 to record a series of films shot with a home video equipment. Sir Drone and The Whole World Is Watching: Weatherman '69 were filmed and released on VHS during that same año. En the context of the early punk movement in the American West Coast, in the late seventies, Sir Drone tells the story of two teenage punks, interpreted in the video by Mike Kelley and Mike Watt (Minutemen group member and fIREHOSE) trying to mount a group, and who must confront ethical and aesthetic issues that this raises.
