Searle writes with such simplicity, clarity and thorough understanding about how human beings create rational reasons for action with other actors. The subject cuts across the disciplinary divide and I am grateful for such a book to graduate students concerned with the subject of practical reasoning for political action. I recommend it to all students of politics.
