A very good, clean, sturdy hard cover over all with moderate shelf wear and light exterior soiling, minor rubbing to the spine, interior clean and sturdy, binding solid, paper lightly yellowed. An independent volume issued as part of the greatest history of America written by the best Historians of the time. A very nice reading copy.
