Georges-Jacques Danton: zealous, energetic and debt-ridden. Maximilien Robespierre: small, diligent and terrified of violence. Interesting look into the evolution of the personalities involved in the French Revolution. It is, however, very dense reading, definitely not mind-candy. If you can devote an hour or two at a time of full concentration to it, it is well worth the effort.
