Near Fine in Very Good jacket. 240 page hardcover, includes a photo-illustrated frontispiece (picture of Mr. Townsend; he was the gentleman who was going to marry Princess Margaret [the Queen's sister] in 1955), and several contemporary interior pictures. Very nice copy: extremities of binding have VERY minor bumping/wear, "50" stamped on upper and lower edge of page block/one small spot on front fixed endpaper. Otherwise the book is in excellent condition with NO markings throughout. The dj has light rubbing, some chipping at head of spine/sticker-pulls near heel, couple short/tiny closed edgetears. Otherwise it's very presentable and will look attractive under plastic. NOT an ex-library, NOT a book club, NOT a remainder, dj NOT price-clipped ("$3.95"). Near Fine in Very Good dj.
