Very good. No dust jacket as issued. Mass market (rack) paperback. Glued binding. Dollanger Saga (Paperback). Audience: General/trade. This is the softcover stated Pocket Edition from 1980. Other than a bit of cover corner creasing (and subsequent couple of tiny dog-ears--no pig's feet! ), both the cover and the book are in very good condition. There are no rips, tears, markings, etc. --and the pages and binding are tight (see photo). **Note: All books listed as FIRST EDITIONS are stated by the publisher in words or number lines--or--only stated editions that include only the publisher and publication date. Check my feedback to see that I sell exactly as I describe.

The Dollanganger series was the first set of books I read by V.C. Andrews. Mind you they are not for any one 12 or younger, Adult themes. This is the second book in the series and it shows the struggles and the mental toll of what happened to these children. I cant fully describe the story without giving some away but if you are and Andrews fan you will love this series to no end.

The aftermath of the attic shows the problems with survivor guilt. Carrie and Cathy can not get over what their mother did to them. This is an exciting tale of revenge and redemption. The character of Paul brings hope and love back into these children's lives.
