Lois Lenski is my favorite author. Readers are intrigued by her excellent story telling and the plots include examples of the children making decisions and the consequences of those decisions.

I Remember This...
I remember this book to be one of my very favorite books when I was in about 3rd or 4th grade back in the 1960's. Lois Linski had a real talent for writing childrens books as she wrote many books about children in different parts of the United States. I'm not sure why but I would check this particular book out of the school Library over and over along with other books she wrote. I finally got hold of a copy of this story and am saving it for my granddaughters to get a little bit older. I recommend any books by Lois Linski.
