I am re-reading Peace Like a River just to enjoy the rhythm of Leif Enger's writing.

Who does Leif Enger write like? Like no one but himself. Fresh, unpredictable, bold, imaginative. Characters like 9 yr old Swede, the most engaging narrator since Scout of To Kill A Mockingbird. Probably the best novel I've read in 10 years.
